Hi there!
I’m Terra (aka Auntie Tadoe).
I’m a designer, editor, and neurodivergent maker who runs on color, story, and organization that doesn’t bully your brain. My work leans into bold graphics, cheeky prints, and ADHD-friendly tools that make creativity feel doable, expressive, and a little delightfully unruly.
Auntie Tadoe’s House is where all of that spills over into daily life. It’s my corner of the internet for recipes, crafts, home experiments, small adventures, and the kind of casual chaos that turns into good stories later. Some days I’m cooking. Some days I’m sewing something questionable. Some days I’m just thinking out loud and letting my Gen-X mischief flag fly. Either way, the door’s open.
Everything I make — and everything I share here — is anchored in purpose. I stand for human dignity, disability visibility, LGBTQIA+ rights, racial and economic justice, and the right to live without shrinking yourself for anyone. Creativity is resistance, comfort, rebellion, therapy, and self-definition, and I believe in using all of it.
Inside Auntie Tadoe’s House, the rules are simple: bring your curiosity, your imperfections, and your real life. I’ll bring the color, the humor, and the insistence that everyone belongs. This is a home for art that gets weird, justice that gets loud, and people who are done pretending they’re anything but themselves.
- I’m a sucker for a bubble bath, Unsweetened Tea, Pepsi Zero, cute floofs, audiobooks, starting projects, and a perfect truffle chip.
- Cooking for others is how I express love for them. There’s nothing else I put as much of myself into.
- I am an Amazon Affiliate, but the things I link I really own. I won’t ever lie to you about a product.
- If you want to talk collabs, or advertise in my sidebars, feel free to message me. I give priority to small businesses and blogs I support.
- Just a heads-up, I’m not a mommy blog, so I won’t be writing about diapers or bottles or cute toddlers. I’m a weird aunty.
- Product review are honest.
- I don’t do paid insertions.
- I’m a Gen-Xer, so don’t mess with me. My punk roots run deep. Here’s where I stand on Social Justice Issues.
